Took a group camping out there to hike and check out the cave tour. We all loved it. Trails were pretty clearly marked and the views we're rewarding. The bats were also an incredible sight because we weren't expecting to see so many flying out of the ground.
Quiet, great bathrooms. Four camp sites with electricity, water and sewer. Very close to the bathrooms and wifi. Inexpensive entrance fee and camping fee. Plus the closest viewing area for the bat emergence of any bat cave I have ever been. And I'm a bat biologist from Colorado, where the Brazilian freetail colony is bigger but you can get right at the entrance! Few caves offer this experience. And not very busy park with lots of armadillo and birds and deer. Right in camp. A nice place to get away from crowds. No cell phone service. But good wifi.
Very well kept and peaceful. Many trails to explore and can do a cave tour. We also lucked out and saw the bats!
We were the only campers there last weekend, and it was great! Park staff was all friendly and extremely helpful. Can't wait to go back!
Awesome hiking trails that can also be biked. Cave tour was really good and informative. Camp sites were well maintained.
